Radiology Information Management System

The Radiology Information Management System is designed to provide a wide range of flexibility and ease of use.  The system provides assistance in the everyday processes carried out within a radiology department. The Radiology system contributes to efficient department operation; it is integrated to the ClinNext™ Order Communication System which handles order processing from requisition through results reporting. The system interacts with the ClinNext™ Appointment Scheduling System which allows staff to plan resource requirements ensuring that facilities and staff are used efficiently. Users can produce flash cards, technologist worksheets, and film / jacket labels that provide the necessary control for film tracking.  For instance, mammography tracking functions include management of required follow-up letters to both the physician and the patient. In addition, a patient profile contains pertinent information about each examination, its status, and the location of each film. The reporting of results is streamlined with the ClinNext™ Enterprise Transcription System which uses Microsoft Word® to reduce transcription time. User defined radiology departments, sections and workstations provide identification for logical radiology work distribution. 

User defined reporting templates provide maximum flexibility, functionality and accuracy for result reporting.  Complete identification and tracking of employees performing and verifying the procedures is kept.  Every single result entry and/or edit is time stamped and stored in the system.  This perpetual data storage allows user to reconstruct any transaction processes when necessary.
