ClinNext™ Case Management and Coding Management

The Case Management Module includes Utilization Review, Medical Record Coding, Discharge Planning and Chart Deficiencies functionalities.

The Utilization Review section allows constant and consistent monitoring of resource utilization and payer compliance throughout the facility.  Cost per patient can be compared, on-line, to anticipated reimbursement.

The Medical Record Coding portion of the system provides the ability to easily code ICD9 Diagnoses and Procedures, as well as CPT/HCPCS coding.  The interactive search tools include full indexes and keywords for all coding systems, an expanding Table of Contents, indexed tables for Neoplasm’s and Drugs/Chemicals, and the full ICD9CM Tabular Listing.  The system contains Code Editors for both inpatient and outpatients, which can be user-defined to allow for differences in various financial class editing requirements.  The system automatically assigns DRG’s and APC’s for accurate Medicare billing.

The Chart Deficiencies portion of the system tracks deficiencies by type (physician, medical record coding, billing information, etc.).
