Laboratory Information System

The Laboratory Information System is designed to provide a wide range of flexibility and ease of use.  The system provides assistance in the everyday processes carried out within a clinical laboratory.

User defined laboratory departments, sections and workstations provide identification for logical laboratory work distribution. User defined procedures and tests provide compatibility with the ClinNet™ order entry system.  User defined containers that include tests provide a means of defining intelligent sample labeling.  Extensive use of bar-codes also provides the means for accurate sample tracking and positive sample identification.

User defined reporting templates provide maximum flexibility, functionality and accuracy for result reporting.  Complete identification and tracking of employees performing and verifying the clinical test analysis is kept.  Every single result entry and/or edit is time stamped and stored in the system.  This perpetual data storage allows user to reconstruct any transaction processes when necessary.

An extensive list of interface templates allows the system to automatically receive results from various types of laboratory equipment.  The positive sample identification eliminates human error while ensuring accurately reported test results.  Finally, the system reduces to a minimum the amount of time spent storing results and retrieving old results.
